Suffolk County Crime Stoppers issued an alert as investigators attempt to identify a man who allegedly assaulted another man at a nightclub in Melville during an early morning scuffle.
According to police, the suspect punched a man several times at Gossip NightClub on Broadhollow Road at approximately 3:50 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1.
Police said that the other man was transported to Syosset Hospital for treatment on non-life-threatening injuries after the alleged assault.
Investigators described the suspect as between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 5-foot-10 with dark hair and a beard.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect or alleged assault has been asked to contact investigators at the Suffolk County Police Department by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or leaving an anonymous tip online.
